So Proud To Anounce

Just yesterday, our 7 year old student, Isaiah once again, was a proud winner. This time, he received the MOST OUTSTANDING COMPETITOR UNDER 10 YEARS award, which is one of the more elite awards at the Eisteddfod.

Outstanding achievement

Isaiah with his piano teacher Lily who was at the Eisteddfod to support his performance. Isaiah was most appreciative of this dedicated teacher, as he said: "I received the most outstanding award because I have the most outstanding piano teacher."

With only 2.5 years of learning piano, and competed against many amazing and exceptional junior pianists who came from different parts of Sydney and beyond, Isaiah managed to achieve fantastic results receiving 2 Golds and 1 Silver.

He also received a Highly Commended for his cello performance in the string section, being the only cello winner in the section of all violinists. This is another great achievement for young Isaiah as he started learning cello only just over a year ago.

While most children play after school, Isaiah would be practising music for many hours everyday, even during school holidays. This BIG Award is of course is the best recognition for his dedication to learning music and his tireless efforts in music practising.

The biggest congratulations to the biggest award winner! Well done Isaiah!
